- A refundable $50.00 deposit for all new user accounts.
Regulations: (Res. 2022-19)
- Water service discontinued for any reason shall continue to be billed monthly for System Access Fee and for Debt Service Surcharge.
- Property owners shall be responsible for payment of bills.
Bill Payment: (Res. 2022-19)
- Billing Cycle Ends on the 15th of each month, bills are due and payable upon receipt.
- Bills become delinquent if not received by the 15th of the following month.
- Delinquent notices are mailed on the 30th of the following month for unpaid bills (approx. 45 days from bill origination). A 10% late fee will be applied for past due amounts exceeding $5.00.
- Properties with bills not paid by the 15th of the next month (approx. 60 days from bill origination) will be tagged with a door hanger and a $30.00 Hang Tag Fee will be charged to the account.
- If payment is not received PRIOR to the disconnect date indicated on the door hanger previously delivered, service will be discontinued, and the account will be charged a $30.00 lock-off fee.
- Once an account is disconnected due to non-payment, service will not be restored until all past due monies are paid in full, along with fees applied for delinquent processing, PLUS:
- $30.00 reconnect fee if payment received prior to 3:00 p.m. of a regular business day.
- $100.00 reconnect fee if payment received after 3:00 p.m. of a regular business day, and the requestor must sign for authorization to restore services at this rate.
- Service will only be restored during normal business hours.
Unauthorized Use, Connection, Tampering, or Act Causing Damage to the District’s Property or System (Res. 2023-05)
- $2,000 or actual cost (whichever is greater) for each offense.
- Report to appropriate agency for prosecution and restitution.
- Termination of water service.
Performing Public Works Construction Without a License (Res. 2023-05)
- $2,000 or actual cost (whichever is greater for each offense.)
- Report to Idaho Division of Building Safety.
- Termination of water service.
