In 2022, the District embarked on a service meter replacement program. We applied for a grant through the Bureau of Reclamation Water Smart Program to assist us in funding this improvement. We didn’t receive the grant, but we saved $xxx,xxx by installing all 5,000 meters in house. The new AMI service meters provide our customers with the ability to monitor their real time water use and trend their historical usage through the EyeOnWater Metering software.
