Security Deposit:
- A refundable $50.00 deposit for all new user accounts.
Regulations:
- Water service discontinued for any reason shall continue to be billed monthly for System Access Fee and for Debt Service Surcharge.
- Property owners shall be responsible for payment of bills.
- Access fees, debt service assessments, and metered rates are calculated and billed following meter installation to the service. Gozzer Ranch lots proivded with a meter stub out (inactive lots) are charged an access fee.
- Water service discontinued for any reason shall continue to be billed monthly System Access and Debt Service Fees. Property owners shall be responsible for bill payment.
- A $100 fee is charged if notice of 48 hours is not provided for winter shut-offs or spring turn-ons or customer-requested shut-offs for maintenance.
- Backflow testable assemblies are required to be tested annually. Charges for failure to provide an annual backflow assembly test report are as follows: backflow testing late fee: $52, backflow lock-off fee: $35, Backflow reconnect fee (reconnect before 3 pm): $50, backflow reconnect fee (reconnect after 3 pm):$150.
Bill Payment:
- Billing Cycle Ends on the 15th of each month, bills are due and payable upon receipt.
- Bills become delinquent if not received by the 15th of the following month.
- Delinquent notices are mailed on the 30th of the following month for unpaid bills (approx. 45 days from bill origination). A 10% late fee will be applied for past due amounts exceeding $5.00.
- Properties with bills not paid by the 15th of the next month (approx. 60 days from bill origination) will be tagged with a door hanger and a $35 Hang Tag Fee will be charged to the account.
- If payment is not received PRIOR to the disconnect date indicated on the door hanger previously delivered, service will be discontinued, and the account will be charged a $35 lock-off fee.
- Once an account is disconnected due to non-payment, service will not be restored until all past due monies are paid in full, along with fees applied for delinquent processing, PLUS:
- $50 reconnect fee if payment received prior to 3:00 p.m. of a regular business day.
- $150 reconnect fee if payment received after 3:00 p.m. of a regular business day, and the requestor must sign for authorization to restore services at this rate.
- Non-sufficient funds are charged a $45 processing fee.
Unauthorized Use, Connection, Tampering, or Act Causing Damage to the District’s Property or System
- $2,000 or actual cost (whichever is greater) for each offense.
- Report to appropriate agency for prosecution and restitution.
- Termination of water service.
Performing Public Works Construction Without a License
- $2,000 or actual cost (whichever is greater for each offense.)
- Report to Idaho Division of Building Safety.
- Termination of water service.
